We carry two types of sugar mold tin inserts, the cone shaped, like these and the flat bottom inserts. Not using an insert when burning candles in the sugar molds is asking for trouble. The problem with glass inserts, which we do not carry, is that sooner or later they will shatter and, well, create a mess and a danger. Not using the inserts will make it almost impossible to dig the old candle out of the mold. All of our complete sugar molds come with the inserts, but it is so important that you have extras, in a basket or a dough bowl, so that people can buy them. There are a lot of consumers out there, that do not have these tin inserts and they are an easy sale.
